Parents of children with special needs in Round Rock ISD called for censure of Trustee Weston this week due to alleged targeted silencing of their critical comments in a public forum, and alleged attempts to have a SPED parent removed from their position on the SHAC and replaced with another parent who supported Trustee Weston in that same public forum. Access Education RRISD responded this morning with a message of support via social media, tweeting “We stand with @SPEDofRRISD.” This is the second call for censure of Trustee Weston in the past 6 months, the first coming from the Board itself last fall.
