Our Story
Hundreds of parents and community members across multiple RRISD vertical learning communities have come together to power Access Education RRISD’s efforts. We represent AAPI, Black, Hispanic/Latine, and white communities. We are members of different religions. We are members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. We are immigrants. We have children with disabilities and special needs. We are active members of our schools’ PTAs. These are examples of our differences; what we share is a deep commitment to see this district succeed, because this is how our children will succeed.

Jennie Birkholz
PRESIDENT
Jennie Birkholz, MHA is the proud mom of two youth attending Round Rock ISD schools, the wife of a public school employee and health equity expert. Having her kids engage in special education, and TAG programs and seeing them flourish has shown her how essential equitable access to education is. As a wife of a public school employee, Birkholz also knows firsthand the challenges and sacrifices school employees and their families make every day.
Educated exclusively in public schools, Birkholz earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas State University. Birkholz spent over a decade working in local community behavioral health before starting a national healthcare consulting firm that develops and implements creative solutions to address mental health, the opioid crisis, and social determinants of health. Birkholz has consulted and trained public schools on Mental Health First Aid, creating trauma informed environments, and implementing school based integrated care clinics. Birkholz is deeply invested in supporting and improving our public education system and has testified and advocated at the state legislature. Particular passions are student inclusion for decision making, student wellbeing, diverse and accurate curriculum, and staff retention.

Rebecca Molis
TREASURER
Rebecca Molis is a parent of two graduates of Round Rock High School and has been an active community member supporting Round Rock ISD schools since moving to Round Rock in 1999. Rebecca has volunteered at field days, class parties, and many booster events over the 15 years her children attended Round Rock ISD. Even after the graduation of her children from RRISD, she continues supporting local schools by donating school supplies, snacks, and teacher treats throughout the school year.
As a graduate of public education, Rebecca believes strongly in the right for every child to have a safe, inclusive, and academic education. She is thrilled to call many school educators, librarians, and support staff “friends”. From her humble background as the daughter of a small business owner, she has seen the advantages that a strong education provides for professional growth and seeks to give back by providing a scholarship in her father’s name at her hometown high school in NC.
Rebecca brings a depth of financial experience to her role as Treasurer, having served as Finance Chair and Treasurer for her church for 5+ years. Rebecca has supported the financial functions at Access Education RRISD since 2021 in a background role and looks forward to leveraging those experiences in her role as Treasurer. Rebecca has worked in the local tech industry since moving to Round Rock in 1999 and is currently bringing new capabilities to market in her role as a Program Manager.

K LaFleur-Anders
COMMUNICATIONS
Driven by her own personal experiences and her career as a writer and wellness coach, K. LaFleur-Anders has made it a mission to ensure that every person, regardless of their background or abilities, has access to the transformative power of literacy. With unwavering resolve, she became a fierce advocate for literacy, working to break down barriers and create opportunities for all children and adults to unlock their full potential through reading and writing. She fosters a sense of community and belonging, encouraging individuals to share their diverse stories, express their truths, and embrace their worthiness through words.
K.’s passion extends beyond literacy. She has served in multiple Round Rock ISD PTA, Booster Club, and Site-Based Committee roles since 2010. Her volunteerism speaks to her willingness to serve our community where there is a need. K. is also an advocate for student-athletes and stands firm in her belief that they are more than how well they perform. Her goal is to advocate for the whole athlete and encourage others to see student-athletes as more than wins and losses. K. believes that the well-being of every student – athlete or not – and their families should be a highlighted priority and there should be programs implemented in public education to support them.
Our Work
Foremost is the idea of equity. We will hold the District and school board accountable to ensure that Round Rock ISD’s decision-making and strategic plan delivers solutions that recognize and embrace diversity, and address inequities effectively.
We will work to create more frequent and effective means of gathering broad community input to ensure district leadership is aware of issues currently facing Round Rock ISD’s children and families.
We will work towards ensuring an effective and functioning school board that places the interests of Round Rock ISD students above political aspirations.
