Access Education RRISD is pleased to announce its enthusiastic endorsement of the following five outstanding pro-public education candidates for the Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees. All places are elected ‘at large’ – be sure to vote in all races!

Place 3: Vote for Amber Feller

Amber Feller – Endorsed by Access Education RRISD for Place 3

Current Round Rock ISD Board President Amber Feller is the level-headed, experienced leader we must retain in Place 3 to keep our school board proceedings functioning smoothly. She has handled contentious public meetings with fairness and poise, ensuring that required Board business continues to be handled by local elected officials rather than by state-appointed conservators. Trustee Feller understands the direct relationship between effective team leadership and high-quality education for all students. She facilitated the adoption of Lone Star Governance in the District and has consistently championed progress toward improving student outcomes. http://amberfellerrrisd.com/

Place 4: Vote for Alicia Markum

Bringing a fresh perspective and a proven record of community leadership, Alicia Markum is Access Education RRISD’s choice for Place 4. In her service on the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs and Round Rock ISD Special Education Parent Advisory Council, Alicia has demonstrated a deep understanding of the public school system, including in the areas of policy, funding, and services. She served twice more before winning Place 5 on the school board in 2018. Place 6: Vote for Tiffanie N. Harrison

Tiffanie N. Harrison – Endorsed by Access Education RRISD for Place 6

A former RRISD student and teacher, current board Vice President Tiffanie Harrison has improved community outreach, District transparency, and has been a steady voice for policies and budgets that address educational gaps and disproportionate discipline. She consistently brings data and facts to the discussion and champions using expert guidance in decision-making. In stark contrast to her opponent, Trustee Harrison is an exceptional public official, pointing the way toward what governance could, and should, strive for in a diverse and forward-looking school district that prioritizes world-class, high-quality public education for all. https://www.tiffanie4rrisd.com/

Estevan Jesus ‘Chuy’ Zárate – Endorsed by Access Education RRISD for Place 1

Chuy Zárate’s authentic energy, compassion, and love of working directly with students has led him into numerous volunteer educational and leadership roles in Round Rock ISD schools, the Round Rock ISD Council of PTA’s and beyond. He has prepared to serve on the Board by cultivating relationships with District staff and the current Board and by honing his advocacy and leadership skills through Round Rock ISD and PTA leadership training.
